We'll chat a bit to talk about your vision and ideas. We'll discuss locations, color schemes, and what date and time works best for you. After that is decided, I'll email you my contract and session guide. Once you've signed the contract and paid the $50 non-refundable retainer (which goes towards your shoot), you're officially on the books!

I'm always available to you throughout the whole process to answer any questions you may have. Nothing is too small - I've helped clients decide all sorts of things, right down to the color of their toenail polish! The more we communicate, the happier you will be with the final product.

This depends on the season. March-April and October-November are my busiest times of year, so if you'd like photos during spring or fall I suggest booking at least one month in advance. For the rest of the year, three weeks out is usually fine.

For maternity shoots, the best time to take them is between 28 and 35 weeks of pregnancy.

My goal is for your session to be relaxed and enjoyable, resulting in photos that show your natural, authentic connections with each other. I'll give some direction to ensure you're in the most flattering light and position, then let you interact with each other naturally. I'll give prompts throughout the shoot that result in images that show the love and joy you spark from each other. Some of the prompts can be silly (for example, "smell your shoulder" for maternity shoots to get that pretty 'looking down' shot), but that just ensures natural reactions!

The best part about booking a session with me, aside from the photos, is that you'll be able to take an hour or so out of your busy lives to just enjoy each others company and have fun! So just sit back and relax while I guide you from start to finish.

I'm based in the Dallas/Fort Worth area but I love to travel! If you'd like me to photograph your story it will require a travel fee if you are outside the metroplex.

After your shoot, I'll spend time selecting the very best images from your shoot, then perfecting each one individually by hand. You will receive an online gallery link with all your photos within a maximum of three weeks (usually sooner, but it does depend on the season). From there, you can choose the photos you wish to download as well as share them, choose your favorites, and order prints!

The amount of digitals you receive is based on the package you have chosen. Packages include a set number of photos, with additional images available for purchase at $10 each. You will also have the option to purchase the whole gallery for a deeply discounted rate.

If there is bad weather in the forecast, I will keep in close contact with you in the few days leading up to the shoot to discuss our options. This may include renting a studio, changing time or locations, or rescheduling the date.

If a client is late, that time is taken out of the shoot time. If for some reason you're unable to make it to your session at all, please get in contact with me as soon as possible and we'll work something out. Retainers are non-refundable, but can be applied to a future session.
