I'm so glad you're here.Thank you for your interest in shooting with me! That's a photo of me with my husband and my daughter there on the left (I shot that with a tripod and a LOT of patience!). I'm originally from Anaheim, California and I moved to Texas in 2014. When I'm not taking photos or spending time with my family, I work full-time as a librarian. My teeny tiny bit of spare time is usually spent reading, watching Schitt's Creek, or sleeping!
my photography style
When I pick up my camera, my goal is to tell your story. I want you to be able to look back years down the line and remember exactly how you felt in the moment. The excitement about your engagement. The way your child's voice sounds. The feeling of holding your tiny little newborn. I want to evoke emotion and tell your story.
I try to get as many natural poses as possible. I'll give you prompts and direction so we achieve the "storytelling" vibe. I'll have you naturally interact with your loved ones. Spin in circles, play games, have a tickle fight. I'll also get a few of those traditional, smile-at-the-camera photos for grandma's wall. You'll never feel like you don't know what to do next - I'll guide you from start to finish and most importantly, you'll have fun.
My photography style would be considered rich, vibrant, and golden. I lean towards more dark and moody than light and airy, but I love playing with light and shadows.
